Moving from Rev5 to a 20x Marketplace listing is a fixed, knowable amount of work: a machine-readable certification package, evidence for the 46 Key Security Indicators, and the 20x document set. We take the Word original of a document, correct the defects in the source, export a tagged PDF that conforms to PDF/UA-1 (ISO 14289-1), and hand back the PDF, the validation report that proves it, and the corrected source file. The export and the validation run on our own hardware and open no network connection; the document is never sent to an online service. That is the difference for CUI and for anything under an NDA. We do not repair PDFs that have no source, because a tag tree cannot be added to untagged content after the fact; we assess those and tell you the route.

Scope, stated plainly: there is no Section 508 certificate for a document, and nothing we deliver claims one. What exists is a conformance report and the evidence behind it, and both come with the file. A PDF that arrives without its source, or as scanned pages, is assessed and routed, not repaired. Working copies are deleted 30 days after acceptance unless you ask us to retain them.
